To my incredibly patient and understanding fans and friends,

I know some of you have been inquiring about the status of my second LP, so I wanted to give you a quick update on where things stand.

As you may or may not know, last summer I became very ill and was diagnosed with lyme disease. I’ve been struggling with the disease for almost a year now. I’ve put off discussing it publicly because in the back of my head, I was hoping I’d bounce back sooner than I have, but the truth is, lyme ended up taking over my life so much so that at times I couldn’t get out of bed, let alone write songs and perform.

I’m happy to say that I am slowly returning to my normal self but it has not been easy. I wrote an album that should have been released months ago, but I was thrown a curve ball. Thats life. What I will say is, I’ve had so much time to reflect on my music, my album and what I want to convey moving forward. I’m in a very different place than I was when I started writing This Ain’t Luck and in an odd way, I feel like I was given another chance to express that. So thats what I’m doing. I’m back in the studio, writing new songs that I will incorporate into the album, which I’m incredibly excited to share with you.

I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you sticking with me. Just knowing you are waiting on my music pushes me to get better, work harder and deliver and I can’t thank you enough for that.

All the love,
